(Sophomore Forward; Ormstown, Que.)
Lefort collected 11 points (7g,4a) in three games, including a hat trick and an assist at Northeastern on Dec. 3. She then had two goals and an assist on Dec. 6, followed by a two-goal, two-assist performance the next day to help BU complete a weekend sweep of Minnesota Duluth. Kirkup added three assists on the weekend against Brown for the Black Bears in the win and tie at Alfond Arena. She recorded an assist on the game-winning goal on Friday and followed that up with two assists in the 3-3 tie on Saturday vs. the Bears. Pro Ambitions

HOCKEY EAST WEEKLY TOP PERFORMERS

Victoria Hanson, BU (Fr., G, Stoughton, Mass.) Made a career-high 33 saves on 35 shots against Minnesota Duluth on Saturday.

Brianne Kilgour, Maine (Sr, F, Hamilton, Ont.) Notched for three points (1g,2a) this weekend against Brown University.

Emily Pfalzer, BC (Jr., D, Getzville, N.Y.) Scored a goal at 18:33 of the third period to tie the game at 1-1 and force overtime with No. 5 Harvard.

Samatha Sutherland, BU (Fr., F, Cochrane, Alta.) Had four points (1g,3a) in three games. She had a goal, an assist (+4) in the win vs. UMD Friday.

Shannon Stoneburgh, BU (Jr., D, Pickering, Ont.) Had an assist in each of the Terriers' three games this past week.

Louise Warren, BU (Sr., F, Pembroke, Ont.) Tallied nine points (5g,4a) in three games, including two game-winning goals and two shorthanded goals. Warren collected a career-high four points on Tuesday at Northeastern.

Emily Field, BC (Littleton, Mass.) notched her 95th career point with an assist on Emily Pfalzer's goal that tied the game 1-1 with just 1:27 remaining in regulation

Sarah Lefort, BU (ORMSTOWN, QUE.) has 12 points (8G,4a) in her last four games

Samantha Sutherland, BU (COCHRANE, ALTA.) has collected an assist in each of the last four games

Kelly Wallace, NU (LIBERTYVILLE, ILL.) is currently on a six-game point streak (3G,4a)

Louise Warren, BU (PEMBROKE, ONT.) has nine points (5g,4a) in three games


TEAM NOTES

Boston College: Emily Pfalzer scored a game-tying goal with 1:27 remaining in regulation against No.4/5 Harvard and the Eagles were able to hang on to the 1-1 tie, Emily Field notched her 95th career point with an assist on the goal...Before Saturday's tie, BC had been winless in every game at Harvard (0-8-0)…with the tie at Harvard, the Eagles finished the month of November with a 7-2-2 record, and were a perfect 6-0 against Hockey East foes in that span.

Boston University: BU concluded the first semester with a 14-3-1 record and a perfect 8-0-0 record in Hockey East…The Terriers finished 2013 with a 16-0-0 record at Walter Brown Arena, including a 7-0-0 mark this season…BU was also perfect in Hockey East during the calendar year, closing 2013 with a 20-0-0 record in league play and extending its overall conference win streak to 23 games…The Terriers' 14 wins is the most at the semester break in program history…Senior captain Louise Warren has collected both game-winning goals against Northeastern this season, both of which broke a 2-2 tie in the third period or later…She and Lefort each lead BU and are second in the NCAA with four game-winning goals…BU is the only school in the NCAA with two top-five players (Lefort, Warren) in goals per game…Lefort leads the nation in goals (15) and is tied for the league lead with 25 points…Warren (+18), Lefort (+18) and Sutherland (+16) are 1-2-3 in the league in plus-minus.

UConn: UConn is idle from Nov. 30 until Jan. 2 and 3 when they play a two-game set at Princeton…The Huskies are 4-10-2 are under first-year head coach Chris MacKenzie this season, eclipsing their 2012-13 win total and matching their total from 2011-12…Michela Cava leads the squad with a 5-10-5 scoring line…Kayla Campero is tied for the team-high with six goals, also adding six assists for 12 points…Sarah Moses and Elaine Chuli have each started eight games in goal, with Moses compiling a 3.43 GAA and a .909 save percentage…UConn is the least penalized team in the WHEA with just 8.4 PIM/g…The Huskies are second in the league on the power play at 17.2 percent and on the penalty kill with an 87.3 percent mark.

Maine: The Maine Black Bears picked up their first win of the season against Brown University on Friday night as Maine defeated Brown 2-1. Katy Massey and Brianne Kilgour knocked the puck in for one goal each leading to Maine's victory. The Black Bears tied Brown 3-3 on Saturday in overtime after being down 3-0. Mariah Fujimagari was in the net for the Black Bears on Friday night making 20 saves and helping Maine improve to a 1-12-5 on the season.

New Hampshire: UNH rallied past intrastate rival Dartmouth College to end the 2013 portion of its schedule with a 2-1 victory at the Whittemore Center on Dec. 8...Hannah Armstrong netted her fifth goal of the season, all in the last nine games, to break the 1-1 tie vs. the Big Green…Kayla Mork already has established personal single-season highs in both assists (seven) and points (nine)…Nicole Gifford (6g,7a) has matched last year's point total of 13… Gifford leads the team in goals and points and is tied for the lead in assists… Gifford won 17 of 24 faceoffs at Harvard; the rest of the team won 8 of 17.

Northeastern: Northeastern fell to Boston University, 5-2, in its only game of the week on Tuesday, Dec. 3 at Matthews Arena…Redshirt senior Kelly Wallace earned an assist to record her third helper vs. the Terriers this season...NU and BU have combined to score at least five goals in 11 straight meetings…The Huskies have been held to two goals or fewer in seven straight games.

Providence College: Corinne Buie notched her 21st point, putting her three points away from the 100 career point mark. With her 21st point, Buie extended her point streak to four games, a team-best. Eighteen Friars have tallied at least one point on the season, while 17 have notched more than one. Five Providence players have notched double digit points.

Vermont: Vermont closed out the month of November with a record of 5-3-2 ... The five wins are the most ever by the Catamounts in a single month...The Catamounts current four-game unbeaten streak is its longest since last November...The Catamounts have lost just once in their last eight games...With a team leading 12 goals this season and 26 in her career Amanda Pelkey needs one more tally to tie Erin Wente's (2009-13) record of 27.
