| Bryant led the Friars to three points against non-conference foes on the
weekend. Bryant made 24 saves against Union College to earn her first
career shutout. On Friday, Nov. 23 Bryant made 25 saves to help the Friars
earn a tie against Brown University in the 18th annual Mayor's Cup. |

Boston College: BC's current nine game unbeaten streak (7-0-2) is the longest
in team history...Alex Carpenter's point streak has been extended to 11
games (11-10-21) which is three behind Kelli Stack's 14 game point streak
from 10/4/08-11/30/08...Emily Field is first in the Hockey East with 10 power
play points...Blake Bolden and Haley Skarupa are first in the Hockey East in
defenseman scoring and freshman scoring respectively...Bolden is also tied
for first with a +16 rating.
Boston University: Junior co-captain Marie-Philip Poulin ranks sixth in the nation
in points per game (1.91) and is fourth among NCAA skaters with an average of
1.36 assists per game…Poulin also leads the league with 15 assists and has
the top plus/minus rating in the conference (+16).
University of Connecticut: Junior Stephanie Raithby scored in each contest
this weekend...Sophomore goaltender Emily Walsh made her first career appearance
to the tune of six saves over 10-plus shutout minutes...UConn is now
11-7 all-time in the Nutmeg Classic and was swept for the first time since its
inception in 2008
University of Maine: The Black Bears hosted the Russian National team for
a Thanksgiving exhibition game this past week. Maine fell by a score of 3-0.
Senior Forward Brittany Dougherty with four goals and seven assists for 11
points leads Maine skaters while freshman Forward Audra Richards leads the
team in goals with five. Brittany Ott has a 2-3-1 record as she has allowed 14
goals with 205 saves for a .936 save percentage. The Black Bears will travel to
Boston College on November 30 and December 1 as they battle with the second
place Eagles. Game times are slated for 7:00 PM and 2:00 PM.
University of New Hampshire: The University of New Hampshire earned its
sixth win of the season with a 5-2 victory over Quinnipiac before falling in a pair
of games to No. 1 Minnesota. Three different Wildcats notched multiple points
in the victory over Quinnipiac while Jenn Gilligan improved her record to 3-0-0
with the win. The team has totaled 12 power play goals through the first 15
games and have held opponents to 11.
Northeastern University: Kendall Coyne has at least one point in 10 of her 11
games played this season, and is riding a seven-game point streak (seven goals,
11 assists) … Coyne is fourth in the nation in points per game (2.27) … Casey
Pickett has 13 points in her last five games, and is three points away from 100
in her career … Pickett is 20th on the NU record list for career goals (49).
Providence College: With the win over Union on Sunday, Nov. 25, the Friars
have won six of the nine home games they have had this season. The Friars
competed for the 18th annual Mayor's Cup Friday, Nov. 23, where they tied,
2-2, with cross-town rival Brown. It was the third tie in the history of Mayor Cup
face-offs. There have been 17 different Friars notching points on the season
thus far. Providence has collected 123 points in 16 games, with the four person
senior class notching 35 of those points. The Friars home record in Schneider
Arena includes 297 home wins, bringing them just shy of the 300 mark.
University of Vermont: Vermont sophomores Brittany Zuback, Meghan Huertas,
and Amanda Pelkey are all on three-game point streaks. Zuback leads the team in
scoring with nine goals and six assists for 15 points in 14 games this season...
Nine goals is already the most in a season for a Catamount since Hilary Johnson
had 11 in 2003-04…The Catamounts are undefeated in their last three Hockey
East contests, the first such streak since Jan. 30 – Feb. 11 2010.
