|Wakefield recorded her first collegiate hat trick and finished with six points and 14 shots
on goal in the 6-2 win against Vermont on Saturday at Walter
Brown Arena. She also added a power play goal against New
Hampshire on Thursday at the Whittemore Center. Wakefield notched 19 shots
and owned a +2 rating on the week for the Terriers.

|#77 KENDALL COYNE, NORTHEASTERN
(Freshman Forward; Palos Heights, Ill.)
|Coyne notched eight points (4g,4a) over three games this weekend. She scored four points
in each of Northeastern's victories on the week, which included her first career
hat trick on Sunday in the 5-1 victory vs. Vermont at Matthews Arena. Coyne
finished the week with 21 shots on goal and a +8 plus/minus rating.

|Ott made 51 saves on the 54 shots she faced for a .944 save percentage in a 1-0-1 week
for the Black Bears. She recorded 26 saves in the 3-2 overtime win against Providence on
Sunday afternoon at Alfond Arena.

|#41 FLORENCE SCHELLING, NORTHEASTERN
(Senior Goaltender; Oberengstringen, Switzerland)
|Schelling made 69 saves on 71 shots (.972 save%) in the 2-0-1 week for Northeastern.
On Tuesday against No. 4 Boston College, Schelling made 31 saves to hold the Eagles in
a 1-1 tie. She followed that up 17-save shutout of UNH on Saturday and then finished the
weekend with 21 stops on Sunday in the win against Vermont.

|The Huskies finished the week with a 2-0-1 record and outscored their three opponents
by a combined scored of 14 to 2, which included a tie against No. 5 Boston College
and wins against UNH and Vermont.

longest in school history…Junior Blake Bolden's 45 career points are fourth most
ever by a BC defenseman…Alex Carpenter's 26 points (14g, 12a) are fifth most

Boston University: Jenn Wakefield recorded her first collegiate hat trick on
Saturday and added three assists for a career-high six points. Her previous career
high for points in a game was five, a feat accomplished on Jan. 16, 2009, against
Dartmouth…Wakefield's hat trick is the Terriers' second hat trick of the season,
as Kayla Tutino notched three goals on Oct. 15 against Union…Wakefield has an

Emily Snodgrass (Eagan, Minn.) leads the team with 15 points after recoring two
assists this weekend...Huskies allowed a power play goal, in Sunday's game vs.
BC, for just the second time in the last 43 penalty kills chances...UConn PK ranks
third in the nation and second in the league at 89.4 percent
University of Maine: The University of Maine women's hockey team now stands
at 13-8-6 overall and 7-6-1 in conference play after going 1-0-1 on the weekend.
Danielle Ward scored her sixth game-winning goal of the season on Sunday in
overtime against Providence. Brianne Kilgour, Brittany Dougherty, and Dominique
Goutsis each tallied goals for the Black Bears this weekend, while Brittany Ott
made 51 saves on 54 shots. Maine killed all seven power plays that opponents
had this weekend.
University of New Hampshire: UNH won its third consecutive game – all at home
– with a 4-2 victory last Thursday against BU…Jenna Lascelle recorded a career-high
two assists and matched her personal best of three points vs. BU…Emma Clark
netted the game-winning goal vs. the Terriers; three of her five goals this season
have been game-winners...Lindsey Minton is unbeaten at home this season at 3-
0-1 with a 1.97 GAA and .927 save percentage…UNH has lost eight consecutive
road games dating back to a 5-4 overtime win at Dartmouth on Nov. 6…UNH has
an 8-1-1 record when scoring three or more goals in a game…The 'Cats are 7-2-2
when surrendering less than three goals in a game.
Northeastern University: At 89.8% (88/98), Northeastern's penalty kill ranks
second in the nation and first among Hockey East teams…Junior tri-captain Casey
Pickett and freshman Kendall Coyne netted hat trick on consecutive days over the
weekend, in NU's first tricks since current sophomore Katie MacSorley bagged
three against Providence on Nov. 11, 2010…Northeastern's eight goals against
New Hampshire are its most since they scored eight vs. BU on Feb. 3, 2004; the
last time the Huskies scored more than eight was on Feb. 6, 2001, when they hung
nine on B.U. in a Beanpot semifinal...Matthews Arena set a new attendance record
for women's hockey on Saturday afternoon as 1,227 fans watched Northeastern
defeat New Hampshire, 8-0.
Providence College: This Saturday's game against visiting UConn will serve as the
Friars' annual Skating Strides Against Breast Cancer event. Proceeds will benefit the
Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation…Also during Saturday's game,
the Friars will mark ten years in the Women's Hockey East Association by recognizing
their Tenth Anniversary Team…Nine of PC's losses have been by one goal.
University of Vermont: Danielle Rancourt scored her first career goal Saturday
against Boston U, she is the 10th Catamount this season to score her first career
goal…Vermont has scored power play goals in two straight games…Senior
captain Chelsea Rapin leads the team in scoring with six goals and six assists for
12 points in 24 games.
