Ward scored two goals and added two assists in weekend sweep of Sacred Heart. She picked up Maine's first goal of the season and it turned out to be the game-winner on Friday. Ward scored a goal and dished out an assist on Saturday, tallying the game-winner on Saturday as well. Pure Hockey

MAINE BLACK BEARS
The Black Bears outscored Sacred Heart over the weekend by a combined 14 to 1 score. Maine went 4 for 11 on the power play and went a perfect six-for-six on the penalty kill. The Black Bears outshot the Pioneers, 135-24, for the series and notched an amazing 72 shots in the win on Saturday afternoon.
