Freshman Forward; Beauceville, Que.
Poulin continued her stellar rookie season with a team-leading 15 points (7g,8a) during January helping the Terriers squad to a undefeated record of 7-0-0 in the month. She recorded five multi-point games, three power-play goals, two game-winning markers and one hat trick during the month. She also broke two BU single-season records, including most points and goals.

Genevieve Lacasse - Providence College
Junior Goaltender; Scarborough, Ont
Lacasse went 3-3-0 for the Friars in the month of January with a 1.34 GAA and a .959 save percentage. Lacasse's victories included her 12th career shutout (1-0 over UNH on January 14) and a careerbest 51 save effort against Boston College (3-1 on January 21). Lacasse missed three games in January as she led the Canadian Under-22 national team to gold in the MLP Cup.

Alexandra Vakos - Connecticut
Freshman Forward; Hamden, Conn.
Vakos led the freshman class with six points (3g,3a) during the month in nine games. She recorded three game-winning goals throughout January (against Robert Morris and Vermont and at Maine). Vakos posted her second multi-point game of the season against Robert Morris (1g,2a). After starting the season with four points through 18 games, she exploded four her six points in four straight games (RMU, Vermont, Vermont, Maine). She ended the month with a +2 rating.
