| Minton stopped 57 of 60 shots for a .950 save percentage and 1.52 GAA in two games
last week. She made 28 saves against Dartmouth, including seven on six DC power-play
opportunities, to record her fourth shutout of the season and backbone UNH to a 1-0 victory.
Minton was credited with 29 saves, including 14 in the second period, vs. Harvard. |

| The Terriers picked up two wins on the week, beginning on Tuesday night with a 3-0
shutout of Northeastern at Walter Brown Arena. BU followed that up with a 5-3 victory at
Harvard on Friday at the Bright Center. The Terriers went 2-for-5 in the power play over
the two games. BU outshot NU, 40-23, on Tuesday. |

Nicole Gifford, UNH (Fr., F, Peterborough, Ont.) Her goal broke a scoreless tie vs. Dartmouth with 6:12 remaining in regulation and that proved to
be the only goal in UNH's 1-0 victory against the Big Green.
Brittany Murphy, UConn (Sr., F, Tewksbury, Mass.) Recorded the game-winner at Union, her third goal of the season and her first game-winner.
Nicole Paniccia, UConn (Fr., G, Oakville, Ont.) Posted her second shutout of the season at Union, recording 18 saves during the contest.
Florence Schelling, NU (Jr., G, Oberengstringen, Switzerland) Made a season-high 37 saves in a 3-0 loss at No. 5 BU.
Dawn Sullivan, MAINE (Enfield, N.S.)

Boston College: Boston College women's hockey will resume play on December 31 at Princeton in
a 12:00 p.m. contest...Kelli Stack continues to lead BC and the league with 32 points (21 goals, 11a)...she
was named Player of the Week twice (11/1, 11/22) and Player of the Month in October and November...
Stack, Molly Schaus, Meagan Mangene, Taylor Wasylk, and Blake Bolden were invited to the USA Hockey's
Holiday Camp in Blaine, Minn. from Dec. 26-31 to try out for the National team.
Boston University: The Boston University women's ice hockey team closed out the fall semester with
its best record at the season's midway point (14-3-2)… With BU's 3-0 win over Northeastern on Dec. 7, BU
shutout its opponents in back-to-back games for the first time since Oct. 21-22, 2006 (Vermont)…Freshman
goaltender Kerrin Sperry became the first Terrier goaltender to record back-to-back shutouts… BU defeated
Harvard for the first time in program history on Dec. 10…With the win, the Terriers improved to 6-0-0
against teams from ECAC Hockey in 2010-11…The Terriers had their shutout streak snapped at 179:05 in
its game against Harvard…The Terriers scored a power-play goal in its fifth straight game.
University of Connecticut: The Huskies head into the Holiday break with a 7-10-1 overall record
and a 4-4-1 mark in Hockey East play...Nicole Paniccia posted her second shutout of the season at Union,
recording 18 saves during the contest. Both Paniccia and Alexandra Garcia have each posted two shutouts
this season combining for 98 saves over the four contests...UConn now holds a 2-0 all-time record over
Union, also winning 4-1 last season...Four Huskies have posted at least three goals and three assists
this season; Taylor Gross (10G, 4A), Jennifer Chaisson (3G,9A), Kelly Horan (4G,6A) and Sami Evelyn
(3G, 5A)...Over the past eight contests UConn has held seven of their opponents scoreless on power play
opportunities, allowing just two goals on 25 opportunities.
University of Maine: Maine finished up its non-conference games with a tie and a win against
Union over the weekend…The Black Bears are now 2-2-0 against the ECAC this season and finish up
at 6-4-2 in non-conference play on the year…Maine's streak of scoring a power play goal in straight
games was snapped at six when it failed to produce a power play tally on Saturday…After running her
consecutive points streak to six games, Brittany Dougherty (Chesterfield, Mich.) failed to record a point on
Saturday…Dawn Sullivan (Enfield, N.S.) has goals in four of her last six games…The Black Bears remain
undefeated when scoring the first goal of the game as they are 7-0-2 on the year when recording the first
score of the game…First year Black Bear Danielle Ward (Lansing, Mich.) leads the Black Bears' offense in
league play as she has four goals and two assists for six points in WHEA action…Freshman Kayla Kaluzny
(Calgary, Alta.) played her first game at forward on Saturday as she had played the first 17 games at
defense. Kaluzny centered Maine's second line in the game Saturday…Maine returns to league play after
the Holiday break when they host Providence for a pair of league matchups on Jan. 2-3.
University of New Hampshire: UNH ended its eight-game losing streak in its last game of the
2010 calendar year by recording a 1-0 victory Dec. 11 vs. Dartmouth…The Wildcats have 199 victories
at the Whittemore Center since the building opened in the 1995-96 season...Lindsey Minton recorded
double-digits saves in both the second (13) and third (10) periods vs. Dartmouth to finish with 28 saves
en route to her fourth shutout of the season and seventh of her career...All four of Minton's shutouts this
year have been at the Whittemore Center...Courtney Sheary recorded an assist on Nicole Gifford's gamewinning
goal vs. DC and UNH is now 4-1-0 when she records a point...UNH's 3-1 home loss to Harvard on
Dec. 9 marked the first regular-season home loss to a non-conference team since November 2007; the
'Cats had been 18-0-2 since then.
Northeastern University: The loss against BU snapped a three game winning streak...Three of
the Huskies' four losses were against ranked opponents...Northeastern lost to No. 10 Providence, No. 6
Boston College and No. 4 Boston University...The Huskies took just two penalties for the second-straight
game...Florence Schelling made at least 30 saves for the third time this year. Her 37 saves against BU
is a season-high.
Providence College: The Friars are off until January 2 and 3, when they visit Maine for 8 pm and
3 pm face-offs, respectively… Junior Kate Bacon (Chanhassen, Minn.) was one of 40 players invited to USA
Hockey's Women's Winter Training Camp in Blaine Minn. in late December. The camp serves as a tryout
and training session for the U.S. National Team. Bacon previously wore red, white and blue for the USA
Under-18 team that won the World Championships in 2008…Junior goaltender Genevieve Lacasse has been
selected to play for Hockey Canada's Under-22's in the MLP Cup in Switzerland in January.
University of Vermont: Vermont is 2-0-7 when scoring the first goal this season…Senior captain
Celeste Doucet (Memramcook, N.B.) is tied for the team lead in scoring with three goals, and four assists…
Sophomore Erin Wente has five goals and two assists for seven points as well … Vermont has gone
to overtime nine times in 18 games this season…Vermont is 1-2-3 in its last six Hockey East contests…The
Catamounts are off until December 29th when they host Dartmouth College at 5 p.m…Vermont is winless
in 13 games against the Big Green.
