Northeastern University senior Missy Elumba, of Cottage Grove, Minn., was named the 2009 recipient of the BNY Mellon Wealth Management Hockey Humanitarian Award in a ceremony in Washington, D.C.

At the annual postseason banquet, BC's Kelli Stack received the Cammi Granato Award/TPS Hockey Player of the Year. PC's Genevieve Lacasse was named Mission Rookie of the Year and UNH's Brian McCloskey was named CCM Coach of the Year.

In an announcement made at the annual postseason banquet, five teams were represented on the 2008-09 Women's Hockey East All-Star squads. In addition, this year's All-Rookie Team also featured players from five different schools.
