CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Colorado College scored the game's final three goals in the third period and skated away with a 5-3 non-conference victory over No. 10 Boston College on Friday night in front of 5,242 fans at Conte Forum.

The Eagles fell to 2-2-1 (1-0-0 HEA) following their second straight loss, while the Tigers posted their first win of the season and improved to 1-2-2.

BC out-shot CC 43-20 on the night, but Dominic Basse made 40 saves and the Tigers didn't give the Eagles a power play chance.

Boston College was called for two major penalties in the first period and Colorado College took advantage at 10:26 when Jordan Biro beat Eric Dop blocker side from the slot. The Tigers doubled their lead midway through the second as Logan Will slipped a forehand five-hole on a breakaway.

Nikita Nesterenko began the comeback just 1:25 later as he followed a net drive from Jack McBain at the right post and slipped the puck under the pads of Basse for his first of the season. The sophomore then tied the game at 16:11, throwing the puck off a Tiger defenseman at the exact same post as it deflected over Basse's left shoulder.

Sophomore Colby Ambrosio handed the Eagles their first lead of the night 10 seconds into the third, beating Basse low from the left wing circle for his third of the year.

The Tigers responded with back-to-back goals, beginning with a Tyler Coffey snap shot at 1:59 from the left wing that went high glove side on a 2-on-1. Matthew Gleason converted a penalty shot with a backhand deke at 7:55 to restore CC's lead at 4-3.

BC pulled Dop for an extra skater with 1:39 left in regulation, but Jackson Jutting scored into the empty net from his own zone with 36 seconds on the clock to seal the win.

McBain increased his team-high point total to nine with a pair of assists, his third multi-point game of the season.

The Eagles host another NCHC school in No. 8 Denver on Saturday night at 7 p.m. on NESN.
