BOSTON - Brendan van Riemsdyk's goal during the waning seconds of the second period gave the No. 12 Northeastern men's ice hockey team its final lead against No. 17 Harvard during Monday's Beanpot semifinal game at TD Garden as the Huskies skated past the Crimson, 3-1, to advance to their third straight championship game.
Making his first Beanpot tournament appearance, veteran goaltender Craig Pantano anchored the NU cause, recording 27 saves - including 14 during the third period.
