Senior goaltender Sam Tucker made 26 saves for the Terriers

BOSTON - Graduate student Sam Tucker stopped all 26 shots he faced to pick up second shutout of the season and lead the Boston University men's ice hockey team to a 3-0 victory over Vermont on Friday evening at Agganis Arena.

Freshman Domenick Fensore opened the scoring at 4:21 of the second with his first collegiate goal before senior Patrick Harper doubled the lead later in the period. Senior Patrick Curry put the finishing touches on the victory with an empty-netter.

Tucker also added the first assist of his career and made 12 of his saves in the final period, helping the Terriers improve to an even 4-4-4 overall with a 3-3-3 Hockey East mark. Vermont moves to 1-8-0 with a 0-6-0 league record.

Junior David Farrance picked up a pair of assists to stretch his point streak to six games and continues to lead all Division I defensemen in goals (9) and points (18).

The two teams will face off again on Saturday (Nov. 23) at 4 p.m. in a game that will be televised on NESN.
