NESN and CBS College Sports will provide league TV packages for the 2010-11 season

BOSTON - Hockey East Association Commissioner Joe Bertagna announced on Wednesday the league's composite television schedule for the upcoming 2010-11 season at the league's annual media day in the Legends Club at the TD Garden.

New England college hockey fans will have access to 42 telecasts involving Hockey East teams in the 27th season of league play, highlighted by NESN's "Hockey East Friday Night" package and a recently signed national contract with the CBS College Sports Network (indicated in bold). The league will also receive valuable regional and local exposure on Cox Sports in Providence and WABI-TV in Bangor, Maine. Hockey East fans can also watch games live on the internet, as video streaming is available at all league schools, excluding select TV games.

The Hockey East Association is a 10-team Division I college men's hockey conference and an eight-team Division I women's league which began play in 2002-03. Founded in 1983, the men's league has won seven NCAA championships in the past 18 years.
